  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  4. Brush a sheet of phyllo dough with melted butter and place it in a pie dish. Repeat with 3 more sheets, overlapping them slightly.
  5. Spread half of the pumpkin mixture over the phyllo dough.
  6. Sprinkle half of the pecans over the pumpkin mixture.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 with the remaining phyllo dough, pumpkin mixture, and pecans.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the phyllo dough is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream on top.
