  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the dried cranberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
