  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan.
  2. Zest the oranges and squeeze the juice. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine almond meal, all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the orange zest and juice.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
