  • 2 cup Nectarines
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Arrange the nectarine slices on top.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
