Ingredients
  • 500 gram Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Carrot
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 pound Potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, carrot, and peas to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, in a separate pot, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.
  8. Let the shepherd's pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
