  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.
  4. In a heatproof bowl, combine chopped chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  6. Spread the marshmallows over the chocolate layer in the pie crust. Top with the meringue, making sure to seal the edges.
  7. Bake the pie for 15-20 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
