Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the milk and stir until the dough comes together.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently a few times until it is smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 inch (5 cm) and use a biscuit cutter to cut out rounds.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
