  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, beef broth, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  5. Meanwhile, peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk.
