Ingredients
  • 3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour the mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until it comes together. Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.
  6. Brush melted butter over the surface of the dough. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log.
  7. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
