  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add flour to the pan and cook for a minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Add grated cheddar cheese, frozen peas, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese melts.
  6. Add shrimp to the mixture and cook for a few minutes until they turn pink.
  7. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it. Trim the excess dough.
  8. Pour the shrimp mixture into the pie crust.
  9. Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges. Cut slits on the top crust for ventilation.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
