Sheppard Pie

Sheppard Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but it is commonly made with ground beef as well.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion, carrot, and frozen peas for 5-7 minutes.

Add the Worcestershire sauce and beef stock to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.

Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and mix well.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.

In a baking dish, spread the ground beef mixture evenly. Top with mashed potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
