Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, beef stock, and flour. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.

Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the mashed potatoes, egg, milk, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the mashed potato mixture evenly over the beef mixture in the pie dish.
