Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this version uses ground beef instead.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the frozen spinach, carrots, and peas. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them until tender.

Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter and milk. Season with salt and black pepper.

In a baking dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly. Top with the vegetable mixture.

Spread the mashed potatoes over the vegetables, smoothing the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Let the Shepherd's Pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
