Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 package Hashbrowns
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, and peas to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Pour the mixture into the skillet and stir well. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  5. Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Prepare the hashbrowns according to package instructions. Spread the cooked hashbrowns evenly over the meat and vegetable mixture.
  7. Dot the top of the hashbrowns with butter and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the filling is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
