Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter.

Add sliced onions to the skillet and cook until caramelized.

Add minced garlic, carrots, and peas to the skillet with the ground beef.

Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef stock.

In a large pot, boil potatoes until tender.

Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter and milk.

Season the mashed potatoes with salt and black pepper.
