  3. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and peas to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables soften.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, beef stock, tomato paste, and thyme leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate pot, melt the butter and mix it with milk. Add the mashed potatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the mashed potatoes turn golden brown.
  8. Allow the Shepherd's Pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
