Shepherd’s Pie

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, carrots, and garlic until they are softened.

Add the beef back to the skillet and stir in peas, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the potatoes.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
