Shepherd’s Pie
Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but the use of beef became more common in the United States and Canada.
This is high protein and non vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 100 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 13.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Add the onion, carrots, peas, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until they are soft. Drain the water.

Mash the potatoes with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Allow the Shepherd's Pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
