Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground lamb
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoon Shawarma spice blend
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Beef stock
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 pound Potatoes
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and carrots, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the ground lamb and cook until browned. Stir in the shawarma spice blend, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef stock. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them until tender, then drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Stir the frozen peas into the lamb mixture. Transfer the lamb mixture to a baking dish and top with the mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
