Ingredients
  • 200 gram White chocolate
  • 150 gram Butter
  • 150 gram Sugar
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 unit White chocolate truffles
  • 1 cup Fresh berries
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. In the meantime, whip the whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  10. Once the cake has cooled, spread the whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake.
  11. Decorate with white chocolate truffles and fresh berries.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
