In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the onion, carrots, peas, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, tomato paste, garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
