Ingredients
  • 500 gram Chicken
  • 200 gram Carrots
  • 150 gram Peas
  • 100 gram Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly add the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add the carrots, peas, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Divide the chicken mixture among 4 individual oven-safe dishes.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into circles slightly larger than the dishes. Place the pastry over the chicken mixture, pressing the edges to seal.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  9. Let the pot pies rest for 10 minutes before serving.
