Ingredients
  • 3 cup Saskatoon berries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 9-inch Pie crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine Saskatoon berries, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of unsalted butter.
  6. Cover the pie with another pie crust or create a lattice pattern with strips of pie crust.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
  9. Serve the Saskatoon Berry Pie with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
