Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Mixed fruits (such as peaches, pineapple, cherries)
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the unsalted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the mixed fruits with brown sugar.
  5. Grease a round cake pan and arrange the mixed fruits in the bottom.
  6. Pour the cake batter over the fruits, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
