Ingredients
  • 3 medium Apples
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.75 cup Caramel sauce
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel, core, and chop the apples.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
  7. Fold in the chopped apples and chopped walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan.
  11. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the warm cake.
  12. Let the cake rest for 20-30 minutes before serving.
