Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pie Crust
  • 3 medium Apples
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
  • 1 beaten Egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut it into circles using a round cookie cutter.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the sliced apples, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each pie crust circle.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple mixture.
  6. Fold the pie crust over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops of the hand pies with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Allow the hand pies to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
