  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  3. In a bowl, mix the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips.
  7. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the lattice crust.
  9. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
