Shred the cabbage, onion, and carrot.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent.

Add the cabbage and carrot to the pan and cook until softened.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Remove from heat and let it cool.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the dough and cut into circles.

Place a spoonful of the cabbage mixture on each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.

Place the pies on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
