  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Pour the caramelized sugar into the prepared Bundt pan, tilting the pan to coat the bottom evenly.
  3. In a blender, combine the flan ingredients (flan, sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and rum). Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the flan mixture over the caramelized sugar in the Bundt pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cake ingredients (cake, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, unsalted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk) until well combined.
  6. Pour the cake batter over the flan mixture in the Bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
