Roll cake, also known as Swiss roll or jelly roll, originated in Central Europe in the 19th century and has since become a popular dessert worldwide.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.

Pour the batter onto a lined baking sheet and spread it evenly.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake is lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Carefully roll the cake while it's still warm using a clean kitchen towel.

Let the rolled cake cool completely.

Unroll the cake and spread whipped cream evenly over the surface.

Optional: Add fruits on top of the whipped cream.

Gently roll the cake back up, removing the towel as you go.

Place the roll cake in the refrigerator for at least an hour to set.
