  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the rhubarb and strawberries.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Fold in the rhubarb and strawberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
