In a large bowl, combine rhubarb, sugar, flour, and salt. Mix well.

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

Pour the rhubarb mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the filling with butter.

Cover the pie with the second pie crust or create a lattice pattern with strips of dough.

Beat the egg and brush it over the top crust.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
