Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 12 pieces Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon Chocolate sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped peanuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the boiling water to the batter. The batter will be thin, but that's okay.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Place the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on top of the batter, evenly spaced.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once the cake is completely cooled, top it with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  9. Slice and serve.
