Ingredients
  • 1 box Vanilla cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon Mint extract
  • 1 cup Cherry pie filling
  • 4 crushed Candy canes
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • optional for garnish Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions, adding the mint extract to the batter.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool completely, then slice it in half horizontally.
  5. Spread a layer of cherry pie filling on the bottom half of the cake.
  6. Place the top half of the cake on top of the filling.
  7. Frost the entire cake with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
  8. Optional: Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
