Ingredients
  • 16 piece Pierogies
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon Sour Cream
  • 100 gram Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Boil the pierogies according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash them with butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the mashed potatoes, followed by half of the pierogies. Repeat the layers.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
