Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this version uses beef instead.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the onion, carrots, and peas to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a separate pot, prepare the mashed potatoes according to package instructions.

Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish. Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading them to cover the beef completely.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are golden brown.
