  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
