  • 1.5 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cloves
  • 0.5 cup Cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  9. Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top and sides.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
