  • 8 ounce Dark chocolate
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon Pumpkin seeds
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the pumpkin mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, top the cake with whipped cream and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.
