  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well. Fold in the pumpkin puree. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
