-
In a large bowl, combine sugar, milk, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
-
Add the yeast mixture to the large bowl and stir until well combined.
-
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
-
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
-
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
-
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
-
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Spread the mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle dried cranberries on top.
-
Starting from one of the long sides, roll the dough tightly into a log.
-
Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 12 equal slices.
-
Place the slices in the greased baking dish, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
-
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
While the rolls are baking, prepare the maple icing by whisking together powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and milk in a small bowl.
-
Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
-
Drizzle the maple icing over the warm rolls.
-
Serve and enjoy!
