  • 1.5 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
  9. Drizzle the cinnamon glaze over the cooled cake.
  10. Slice and serve.
