Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 400 gram Cod fillets
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 50 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 50 gram Green onions
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them.
  2. Cook the cod fillets in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and flake the fish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flaked cod, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the potato cod cakes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt to make the tartar sauce.
  8. Serve the potato cod cakes with the Dijon tartar sauce on the side.
