Ingredients
  • 500 gram Leftover roast meat
  • 300 gram Leftover vegetables (e.g., carrots, peas)
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Beef or vegetable stock
  • 800 gram Mashed potatoes
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pan, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  3. Add the leftover roast meat and vegetables to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef or vegetable stock.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes, then transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat and vegetable mixture.
  7. Dot the mashed potatoes with butter and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
