Pink lemonade is believed to have originated in the United States in the mid-19th century. It is made from regular lemonade with the addition of red food coloring or other fruits like strawberries or raspberries.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the pink lemonade concentrate and milk. Stir in the pink food coloring.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
