Ingredients
  • 16 ounce Pie crust
  • 6 cup Apples
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the apple mixture with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the apple filling.
  7. Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  10. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
