  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, mandarin oranges (including the juice), eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple (including the juice) and instant vanilla pudding mix. Mix until well combined.
  5. Once the cake has cooled, spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the top.
  6. Top with whipped topping and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
