  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and cut it into strips.
  6. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips over and under each other.
  7. Brush the lattice crust with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
