  • 1.5 cup Ripe bananas
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • Penuche frosting
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the milk.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once the cake has cooled, frost it with penuche frosting.
  9. Slice and serve.
