Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 0.75 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, and cream cheese. Mix until the dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into 24 equal portions and press each portion into the cups of a mini muffin tin to form the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the light brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, salt, and pecans.
  5. Spoon the pecan mixture into each crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Allow the pecan tassies to cool for 10 minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.
